SwornPulse by SWORN AI, Inc. · Effective April 1, 2026
SwornPulse is a free, public-facing community safety map built by SWORN AI, Inc. It pulls from public data sources (FBI UCR, CDC, U.S. Census, city open data portals) and combines them into something you can't find anywhere else: composite indices that show how states actually compare across safety, health, and economic wellbeing.
The map, the data visualizations, the scoring methodology, and the composite index formulas are all proprietary to SWORN AI. We built them. They're ours.
You're welcome to use SwornPulse for personal, educational, and non-commercial purposes. Look up your state's scores. Show it in a classroom. Share a screenshot on social media. That's what it's for.
What you can't do:
If you want to use SwornPulse data for research, journalism, or a commercial application, reach out. We're reasonable people. Email info@sworn.ai.
SwornPulse pulls from public government data: FBI Uniform Crime Reporting, CDC BRFSS, U.S. Census American Community Survey, EPA air quality data, USDA food security data, and city-level open data portals via Socrata and ArcGIS APIs.
We do our best to keep this data current and accurate, but we don't guarantee it. Government agencies update on their own schedules, definitions change between reporting periods, and some data points are estimates based on survey samples, not complete counts.
Don't make life decisions based solely on SwornPulse data. It's a tool for general awareness, not a substitute for professional advice, local knowledge, or your own judgment.
The composite scores (Active Living, Crisis Vulnerability, Community Wellbeing, Family Safety, Economic Resilience) are calculated by SWORN AI using a weighted percentile-rank methodology across multiple federal data sources. The formulas, weights, and scoring logic are proprietary.
These indices are designed to surface patterns and comparisons, not to be definitive rankings. A state's score reflects the data we had at the time we computed it, weighted the way we weighted it. Reasonable people could weight things differently and get different results.
SwornPulse is designed to respect your privacy. Here's what we collect and what we don't.
